READY TO SHIP - 1780s Wig, Women's Style, 18th Century
18th century ladies' wig perfect for Colonial, French Revolution, American Revolution, and Georgian reenactment and costumes.
The rounded curly halo around the face, with long straighter back, is the typical look of the decade. Long ringlets behind the ears were ubiquitous. Many modern costumers call this style the "hedgehog." See the images I've included from historical paintings for similar styles. The rolls are separate pieces and so adjustable. The back is braided and looped up.
The color is #2, which is a very dark brown that is close to black. The wig is made from synthetic hair (more durable and affordable than human hair).
Because this is not a lace front wig, it will look best on someone with dark-colored hair (black, dark brown). You can work your own hair into the front hairline as demonstrated in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OpjgceviQI
It has small toupee/wig clips sewn inside that will help you attach it firmly to your head, as well as combs. The wig adjusts to fit your head size via elastic bands inside. The wig will definitely fit most head sizes up to 22" hat size, but will likely also fit up to 23" (just, I can't guarantee it).
NO RETURNS/REFUNDS.
